Wow, this month is flying by. I have been so busy editing, traveling back to Texas and working toward some really Big news that I will share very soon. In the midst of all of this I have to post a sneak peek of Brian and Marina's Avant Garde shoot. I will post their wedding soon, but I just am so in love with this day after shoot I had to share. So much more soon.

The session continues :) Josie is 7 years old, Ava's big sister and quite honestly a model in training. She loves to be in front of the camera. I photographed the two sisters the other day and here are some more of the images to enjoy.
P.S. In their bedroom, their mother has casts of her belly when she was pregnant with each of them hanging on the wall. I really love the ones of them standing next to their belly.

I love when someone comes to me and has planned an entire portrait session around an outfit or even a cute accessory. This session was centered around the most adorable hair piece and an amazing piece of art. Little Ava has such a distinct fashion sense all on her own already. When this is what she wanted to wear for her session, I didn't complain. Here is a preview of a few of the images from our session.
P.S. The last picture (little lamb) was taken by the very talented little Ava. Sometimes you have to do whatever it takes to get the kiddos to cooperate, even when that means handing over your very expensive equipment at the end of a session for a budding photographer to capture her vision :)
Enjoy :)

Leila loves Seth and wanted to give him a special gift before their wedding this April in San Antonio, TX. Jaclyn loves Rodney and wanted to give him a birthday/Valentine's day gift this year. The best gift to give.... photographs of course. And why not when you are as glamorous as these two beautiful ladies. I love to rev things up for these kind of sessions and pull inspiration from all the fashion magazines I have my nose in constantly. I hope you enjoy.

I guess an entry once a month is alright. :) No. I have been staying the winter here in beautiful Telluride, Colorado. My days have been so busy with learning to snow shoe, ski and cross country ski. Mix in a wedding here in Colorado and one in Hawaii, pretty much I have been a busy lady. So many images to follow. As my time here is coming to and end and my journey back to Texas gets closer I wanted to post a few images of this beautiful state and town.
P.S. The first image on the post is the view from Kaycee's backyard. Sick! This is what I have been waking up to everyday.
