Marisa and Mark are getting married next month here in San Antonio, TX  at the beautiful Greek Orthodox church off Saint Mary's street.  When we had our first consultation I was so excited because I have always wanted to photograph at this remarkable church right in the middle of the city.  So on to the engagement session...  Marisa and Mark had their first date at the Alamo Quarry shops and met  at  Borders book store where they sat on the floor talking until the employees asked them to leave at closing.  I thought it would be so cute to incorporate this part of their story in their engagement pictures.   We started the session off at Borders and then went all over the city trying to find amazing color and cool textures. Marisa is an art major and budding photographer so it was really fun to push my creative juices and create some unique images for her and Mark.   I am really excited for their upcoming wedding right around the corner.  Thank you Marisa and Mark for a great evening.  Enjoy the pictures.

You might remember Monica and Adam from their beautiful wedding this summer.  On our last trip to Washington we photographed this beautiful couple again for their Avant Garde shoot.  Monica grew up on a dairy farm and immediately we said "this is where we need to have your session".  What a funny day complete with a few trips in the mud, (not really mud, but the same color.  You get the idea.) a field full of curious cows and yes plenty of milk to drink and dunk chocolate chip cookies.  Here are some of my favorite images.

I want to start out by saying that Telluride, CO is probably one of my favorite places to be and many times this trip I had to pinch myself because I felt so lucky to be there.  The beautiful Telluride mountains  was the scene where a Texas boy and Chicago girl met, fell in love and on a beautiful day this September with the aspen trees in full peek, had the most amazing wedding.  We had the best time photographing this sweet couple all over the town from the bridal veil waterfall, a field full of aspen trees and ending up on main street.  The party did not disappoint from break dancing little guys to a full on  Photo Booth with the funniest props.  Such an incredible day with such an amazing couple.
Dori and Cody, you know it was a complete honor to capture your memories on such an important day, but a complete joy to call you friends.

Danielle and Kris were married at the most beautiful location in Washington  State overlooking the water.  You might remember this adorable couple from their engagement session a while back, well their wedding day did not disappoint in the least.  The day was filled with so much love,  laughter and wonderful friends and family.  Thank you Princess Buttercup and Prince Wesley for such an amazing day.
