Kaycee and I met Kathryn and Alex a few years ago and had the complete joy of photographing their amazing wedding day.  Now they are expecting their first baby, a BOY named Mason!!  We could not be happier for the whole family and were so pleased that it worked out that we were in town to capture this special moment.  Here is a sneak peak, (just my images) but much more to come.  Thank you Kathryn and Alex, I can say from the bottom of our hearts that we appreciate the honor to keep photographing you and your growing family.

Monica and Adam were married July 23, 2010 in a beautiful ceremony and reception in downtown Puyallup, Washington.  Kaycee and I had such a great time photographing our bride and groom from their First meet before the wedding ceremony to their first dance later in the evening.  We wish Monica and Adam many years to come and thank you both for letting us be a special part of your day.  Enjoy the sneak peak of images.

So the summers here in Texas are terribly hot and sometimes down right miserable so I decided that I would share a few of my favorite things about summer, instead of thinking about the negative or the heat. 
  Swimming:  The one and only thing to do during the summer outside to cool off is getting in the water, even if it is a blow up pool from Wal Mart filled with little alligators.
 Fruit Season:  This really is right up there with my #1 because I could eat fruit of any kind for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  This time of year I can find all of my favorites at really good prices any time I crave them.  I do love the summer months mostly because I am traveling all over (away from the heat) and photographing beautiful weddings.  But it is nice to slow down and think of a few simple things that make me smile when I think of summer, plus I took my camera out while watching my favorite little guys and had to share their cute pictures.

Earon and Michael had the most beautiful wedding last weekend in Moab, Utah.  Both families are from Colorado and decided to do a short destination wedding to the high mountain desert.  The weather held out for us and rained just a bit, but the day went off so smooth and Kaycee and I are so honored to have been a part of this special day.  We wish Earon and Michael many years of happiness.

I just wanted to blog a quick note about how special my Dad is in my life and a quick note to say how much I love him.  Not everyone knows it, but he is so funny and full of really amazing stories that keep you on the seat of your chair.  He has lived a really full life and I am so very blessed to be a part of it and mostly his daughter.  Thank you Dad for all you do and continue to do, you are loved.
